Some of the acts have been anounced. http://www.superflypresents.com/. I remember my first JF on the Cajun queen checking out Particle. Rebirth opened for them I believe. Awesome show

With the exception of the Rads show, it looks like the boat is leaving a little later than in the past couple of years, no. I remember not being able to get back from the FG and clean up and eat, etc and being able to make the boat.

Hmm, it says all ages, but would it be appropriate for little ones? Is it crowded/smoky on the boat? Might be kind of fun . . .

I'd say no, especially if it is the night of a Fest day. It gets quite rollicking and rowdy, with many attendees having been drinking all during the day at the Fest.
Sans kiddies, it is a really fun time!
YANGETY!

and just like fest tix, gas, milk, etc. prices have gone way up. ($40).
for that money, i could probably hit (almost) every club on frenchmen.
maybe the boat doesnt seem that unique to me since i live on the mississippi and we have music cruises often.
ps - i had to put my glasses on because i first read your name as inner-Lube.

Greyboys Show is pretty early too. Tough to leave the FG if Stevie or John Prine is playing....
Why don't they take that into consideration on these shows. Back in the days of the President, this didn't seem to be an issue.

Each year Superflub does less & less for Jazzfest. It's a pity since this is what made them, but they've got bigger plans with Bonnaroo & Vegoose. Granted the big spaces aren't there to bring in the big names(State, Saenger, & TwiRoPa)

I agree - Superfly offerings have been VERY skimpy in recent years, particularly compared to the smorgasbord of shows and cool all-star jams they put together a few years back.
Then again, there's more than enuf great post-fest/late-night music to fill the gap ...

Well the Superfly guys went to Tulane, but my guess is that they did the following:

Papafrog - Nice to see your post; long time, no talk. Guess you're in NOLA "permanently" now, huh?
