Hi Frosty. I'm just west of Deerfield on the west side of I-294. It's hard for me to pick a favorite Sonny tune but Great Gulf Wind is high up on the list. Will you be at Fitzgerald's in April? He'll be there two nights 4/18 and 4/19. I'll be there both nights.

I never saw this again but was searching for another new member who listed Deerfield as their home. I didn't go to the shows in April but saw him Second Sunday at Fest.
I first saw him at the Old St. Pats block party right after South of I-10 came out. That is the most played CD in my collection.

I'm obviously a fan of it also, considering my nick and the name I sell under is "Delta Moon" and it that's exactly where it came from.

He's doing a midwest tour in July. He'll be in Oshkosh on July 10, Belleville WI on the 11th, and in West Dundee on the 12th. The two WI shows are fests.
ummmm.... I'll be at all three :)
oops, we're supposed to be talking about Blues Fest here.

I just perused the schedule and see that my Mississippi peeps are coming to Chicago. Trust me when I say you do not want to miss Rising Star Drum and Fife band featuring Sharde Thomas, granddaughter of Otha Turner OR Lightning Malcolm and Cedric Burnside! If you go on Friday, you'll want to see them again on Saturday.

We're talking real deal hill country blues here. If that's your thing, you will be ever so happy. So glad to spread the love.
TModel Ford will be there too. He's from greenville and is one of the old guys. It's been a bit painful to watch him play the last couple years though. Same chords over and over and over again. But I still love TModel.
Here's a few pix for yall.
