Hey Now, Matthew, I'm heading up to SLC with some buddies for some skiing next week. In late Wednesday 2/20, home Monday morning 2/25.
Is anything worthwhile happening music-wise while we're up there?

Hey Now Swag!!! Good to see your headed back this way. I saw Galactic here on wendsday, and Maceo Parker is tonight, so this week has been a good one for music here in Salt Lake....... As far as next week,nothing on my radar as of yet, but I will certainly see what is coming up. As far as snow goes, you are n for a serious treat. We are having our best winter in many years,the skiing has been incredible!!! There has been more storms this past month than we had for all of last winter! Where will you be skiing/staying? Let me know, perhaps I can arrange to meet you for some fresh "mormon" powder runs, or at least a couple cold, cold beers!!! Keep in touch, hope to see you and your krewe soon, Matthew
We're staying downtown. We'll hit a few different places, probably mostly Cottonwoods and a day at Snowbasin. Seven of us, including a couple of boarders.

Well, where ever you end up skiing, you will be in for some excellent snow!!! This has been an exceptional winter, and your group will have a fine time. Get in touch, I am on my way to see Maceo, so I will check in tommorow..... Matthew

Hey Now--- Maceo put on a funk clinic for the ages last night here in Salt Lake.... I am sure James Brown was looking down (or up?) with approval. A good mix of JB, P-Funk, and soul classics..... The last time I saw Maceo, it was very laid back, musically sedate--- last night was uptempo driving funk and soul, which is much more to my tastes. Be sure to catch Maceo if he is in your neck of the woods!!! (Get Up Off Of That Thing - Dance And You'll Feel Better) Have a great weekend, Matthew

Hey Now Matthew, we're going to be in SLC tomorrow night (I have to see a specialist there about some of my birthmarks). Not sure yet if we're staying overnight or not. We may have to go back a number of times, we should coordinate dinner or something one of these times when we're in town :) We're going to JUST be missing Swag this time!
