Any one heard of this before ...

Project Percolator:
> Jim Weider (of The Band)
> Rodney Holmes (SKB and Santana)
> Mitch Stein (SKB)
> Steve Lucas

They are playing around DC, and PA, and NY coming up real soon ... really off the beaten path

Being a huge Steve Kimock fan I am VERY familiar with Rodney Holmes and Mitch Stein. I'd be one happy toaster head (his fans call Steve the mighty little toaster) if the two of them reunited with Steve to resurrect SKB. So of course when Project Percolator played in Santa Cruz I went to see them.

Rodney Holmes is an absolute MONSTER on the drum kit. I can not impress how extremely talented he is. It's is hard to believe he is playing with only 2 arms and 2 hands. If you get the opportunity, go just to see him. His playing alone will be worth the price of admission.

I loved Mitch in SKB, he is a very competent guitar player.

I only saw Weider the one time. Although his style is different than Kimock's I liked it a lot and left the show very satisfied. I'd definitely go see them again if I got the chance.

You should GO!!!!!

Wow...Plains Twp. is in PA, and is where I live. (Plains Twp. is a Wilkes-Barre mailing address.) They must be playing at the River Street Jazz Cafe, a cool venue. If anyone else is going to that show, let's do a meet-up.

Drummer's mom here reminding you not to forget the 2 feet, each doing something different than the 2 hands!

Always been my problem. If I had a decent bass foot and would practice, I might be making a living in music.
