Yup, I'm going. Are you getting seats, or SRO? I'm going with my neighblor, but they went and bought reserved seats but didn't get one for me. So I was gonna call Ticketbastard and see if they have a single near their seats (BAL-C row J). If not, I was just gonna get SRO. Fred doesn't let you sit during his show anyway, right?
Have you seen the Killdares before? They rock pretty good too.

Yes, we're gonna do SRO. I'm a cheap date. I'm bringing a girlfriend of mine who's a riot.
My other big passion is Celtic music, and the Cletic/rock blend, so we've seen Kildares a number of times. Heck, one or both of us might be in a kilt.

I'll be curious to hear how they are. I've soured on them with all of the Paul hoopla. And now asking him back means they aren't happy with Vince either. Have fun, sorry for being negative.

Man, wish I could make it up there, but have to work tomorrow. I could use a little Fred in my life.
I'll be up there next Friday though for G Love and Special Sauce. Haven't been to the HOB in Dallas, is it much bigger than the one in NO?
A little bigger. Capacity is about 1200. The floor area is a little bigger than HOB NO, but the main difference is upstairs. HOB NO has the horseshoe layout, with a few VIP tables and standing area behind that. HOB Dallas upstairs has about 400 reserved theater-style seats (usually sold to the public); the SRO area behind the seats has limited views of the stage.
And FYI, there's been a time change for the G Love show, from 8p to (doors at) 10p.
Apparently, there's some dude named Dylan playing an early show there that night.

Yeah, I was disappointed about Paul etc., and waffled about going, but decided I want to support NO musicians in my hometown.
