For the less sophisticated like myself if there are any out there, this may save you some time if, like me, you are having difficulty in seeing how to post a new message. The old board had a a link that said something like " post new message". On this board it's the box that says "new link" located on upper left hand side of welcome page, just above box that says"Threads in Forum". Glad to be aboard new board.

Hey Terry....if you're on the main forum with all the threads, there's a button called 'new thread' on the top left side where the threads start. Is this what you mean?

It says "new thread" not " new link", but in any event the point I was making is that the wording is different from old board. And Breambob, I would be happy to share with you what I am smoking, it's called AGE 76.
and I will bring it with me to Fest and share it with you behind Ms Lena's tent at meetup.

Yes, that's the one. Thanks Corona. And thanks for saying it pops up after getting on Jazz Fest Forum link. I take refuge in what a computer literate niece of mine asked me some time ago when I was asking her a question re computer terminology She said, " Uncle Terry, do you know how many people your age even know what a link or thread or blog is?

LOL, Terry!
My dad, who is 88, has managed to figure out how to retrieve his email... and that's it! Anything else has to go through my stepmom... who is 80. She does pretty well as long as I send her specific instructions. :)

Hey Terry.... you've got a few years on me and even after guessing you meant 'new thread' it still took me about an hour to find it! :D
