Sounds great. T-head meet up for the Saints game at the 101 Pub. The Mexicali Blues venue is at 1409 Queen Anne Rd in Teaneck. We will be meeting at the 101 Pub for brews and burgers and Saints before. It is located on the same road, at 101 Queen Anne Rd in Bogota. That means it is 2.5 miles south of Mexicali, on the same road. If you are coming from the south, it is just north of Rt. 80, so that is the way to go. We are planning to arrive around 6:30 to catch some of the Colts/Ravens game and to get seats.

Between 2:30 and 3, I believe. Tangled, Jazzy, where did you guys go? We looked for you guys as things were winding down. Anyway, we had an awesome time and hope to see you all again and stay in contact.

Wow, what a blast. Sorry for disappearing, but my race had been run. In retrospect, probably not the best idea to start the party at 4:30 when the music doesn't start till after 11!

Great time though, awesome meeting everyone! Great meet up! Good to have so many good T-heads in the area. We gotta do that again, soon!

Now that my chest pains have ceased (Chicago Bears), I'd like to thank everyone for the great time and for being so nice to a newbie. Extra special thanx to Tangled for talking me into coming out.

Sigh...I think I have to go take a nap after everything I've been thru in the last 24 hours.

Had the best time with everyone. The SAINTS win just topped off the fun.

SO funny that George and the guys wouldn't go on until the game was over. Made it a very late night but OH SO FUN.

Thanks for the photo post, Tangled! Where to begin? We had a great time meeting up with some Threads at the pub; Tangled brought beads, so we were in good form for the Saints game. It was a good, loud sports bar, and the people there were noticing our concerted effort to cheer, loudly, for the Saints. When they scored the crucial touch down, essentially pushing people toward the goal line, we broke into a spirited version of "When the Saints Come Marching In,'' and even some of the Jersey natives who probably never been to the Crescent City joined in, laughing along the way.
Later, at the show, the vibe was great. George Porter was real pleased with how it was all sounding.
Friday's show is posted on his Web site. I am hoping Saturday's will be posted soon as well. I definitely want to get a CD/download of this show. They opened with some number that included references to the Saints going to the Super Bowl, followed by "Cissy Strut.''
My personal highlight was John Gros growling the words to "Stealin,'' with much of the crowd singing along.
The show particularly rocked during "People Say,'' and a smoking version of "Sneakin Sally Through The Ally.''
What can I say? Great show, great band, great folks. Let's do it again sometime!

I've always got ideas! But as far as music goes.....yup, Cowboy Mouth at BB Kings on Feb. 1, and then Galactic at Irving Plaza Feb2/3. Still trying to figure out which night to go.

Stella, I know NYC is not as convenient to you. That band Gandalf Murphy is playing at Bodles Opera House in Chester on Feb. 9. I'm hoping to make that show. email me at kevin.mcguinness@att.net when you have a minute.
