Donating instruments

I am NJ, my brother is a luthier (http://www.repairguitar.com/) click on Meet CJ (that's my bro) and a big Jazz lover. I'm sure he'd donate a couple of guitars... My question: where are instruments most needed? Kids, resident musicians, etc? not sure...

I posted this to the threadhead sponsoring local kids sticky but not sure. Is there another org down there that does this? Or, stay with the local kids? Just want to give to the ones who need and will appreciate it most.

From what I know, you can either donate them to the thread above or contact Tipitina's. They then pass the instruments onto the schools.
