Anyone know of a site that posts which conventions will be held in New Orleans in 08??
I am thinking that the Riverside Hilton will eventually have deep discounts available if there is not a major convention in town at that time.

seems like there's always a convention or two, or a golf tournament, in town during fest... it always amazes me that people attending those don't even know about fest.

One year my association had a convention during jazz fest. And you know we always have some type of musical entertainment during the final dinner. We were at the Riverside Hilton...about 1,500 people & I believe our convention was ending on the Tuesday following first weekend
So I was pumped up. Here we are in the city that block for block has the greatest music in the world- and at a time when a bizillion groups are in town. I figured we would have something great!!
We had..... Up With People...........sigh!!
