Boutte and Sanchez Albums/Update

This is from Paul, sent to me yesterday:

"Exit To Mystery Street, my record is finished. I am in the studio mixing
john's record as we speak. We have a commitment from the studio to be finished by the end of next week which means it will go to factory the following week and will be available for purchase by the first week of March. All of this made possible by your Threadhead friends who took me drinking last Sunday and are offering to send me the money needed to finish.
It's called the home stretch and I'm loving it."

I didn't learn until yesterday that some very generous threadheads (not part of the original investment group) donated what Paul needed to finish....GREAT NEWS!!!! Thanks to all of you, both original investors and the new investors.

Paul was showering us with Threadhead love at his gig at DBA last Sunday night. I had gotten up to leave, he made me stay for a minute then did Louisiana 1927. Not a dry eye in the place.

I am all for seeing acts that I haven't seen yet at the patry but I tell ya, the Bouchez set was a fest highlight for the ages for me...would love to see them back doing the patry.

I had the same blessed luck to be able to go last year! This year my plan is to take the day off of work on a personal day. We have a no fee credit card that is soley used for internet transactions and paypal that my other half keeps a close eye on so if something ever gets hinky we'll know right away and can deal with it.

Well, you all know that I'm a good detective....There may be a Paul Sanchez snowflake at the Patry. Not sure about John, though.

I get the no snowflakes about the patry. But since the last patry and since the threadhead involvement with his record....well I would be very dissapointed if Paul wasn't there. Heck I want to just party with the guy if nothing else!

Oh this is such great news! I get to see John here in Calgary on April 4 in a small venue (actually a church), but don't know if he will have Todd or Paul with him. I suspect Todd, as Paul would surely get some kind of billing and it's not on Paul's page. There will be some new tunes in the set, so that's extra-exciting! I will have to pick up the new CD if John brings some up here.
