Where are all the Avatars???
A quick survey of the member list (where you can see the Avatars) reveals that only 15 of the 158 members have posted Avatars.
What's up with that?
C'mon everybody, join the fun!:cool:

Now how can you consider this board official when pc-chickaleta hasn't even honored us with a single post yet? But for a beta bored, it seems very sweet: Speed, nice thread structure, convenient editor with pics, links and html. And so far, god bless, nothing sleeping under the bridge has been disturbed.

When you put up your avatar, it tells you that the maximum size of your custom image is 80 by 80 pixels or 19.5 KB
I just found a nice image and resized it downward.

Go to www.photobucket.com and register. Then browse to upload a pic from your puter. Once you upload it, scroll down and you'll see it. Click on edit and then in the second bar make sure that your sized for 13% pic size for avatars. Go in your control panel and find the avatar button and set yourself up. Good luck!

I'm a little confused here. Can you have both your profile picture AND and avatar? Or does one replace the other?
I've had no luck getting my profile pix loaded, using Photobucket. I checked the size and it meets the criteria. Don't quite know what is wrong.
NEVER MIND - IT WORKED!

Thanks, Corona for the detailed avatar install info. I am on the road and have limited photos on this computer, but thought a good starter/temporary avatar would be this funny sign I once saw in the middle of nowhere in the Mojave Desert.
