So what's up with the statuses? Some folks are senior members, some are members and some are junior members.

Does it change based on the number of posts you make?

Or all of you Senior Members just that much older than the rest of us??

Hey Neen!!! The senior members are the hall monitors!

no, it's # of posts. It seems to be 30posts = member, 100 posts = senior member. We are seeking to attain Goddess status... ;)

LOL The Seniors are MUCH older than we are.

I think you become a "Member" at 30 or so posts and a "Senior Member" at 100.

Just checked the other board I post to, where I already enjoy God-like status, and discovered I only have 185 posts. I would have thought it was more, but I do work some of the time. So it may not be that far off for some of you, unless it is set by the administrator for each user of the software.

I have a member, but it's stumpy. How do I change my status?

Huh, I guess you just need someone to whack it down for you if you want it stumpy . . .

Looks like I'm doomed to be a 'junior member' I'll never get there. (Although it does make me sound young)

Speaking of seniors, AARP keeps sending me mail, wanting me to join up. They must have the wrong guy.

BigDag,
I suspect that anyone who remembers George Tirebiter's political ambitions is not the wrong guy for an AARP mailing! Sad to say!

How true! And also anyone who can understand why, unfortunately, the dime was in Mr. Rococo's pocket.

Me too. The first time I heard them was in high school. I had this teacher who played "Don't Crush that Dwarf" as part an English Class. I remember thinking that this was the funniest thing I'd ever heard. They may seem a little less "profound" 37 years later than when I was 16...but they are still a riot (http://www.firesigntheatre.com/rnhtml/drdowney.ram).
