I met a coupla fillies (young girls you understand, not horses) last night from Bozeman Montana. Place sounds familiar... is that where you went to Uni?
One of them gave me her card (works at Montana State University) with a pic of the town on the back... sure looks pretty nestled at the foot of the mountains.
Hmmmnnnn.... maybe it was THEM who fed me too much champagne!

Hey, Ozzie!
My spousal unit will be in Aus. for a couple of weeks in Feb. '08
He's going to Queensland, Melbourne and some other place called Goomba-Goomba, or something like that. I'll have to ask again what it is called.
P.S. It's a place actually called WoogaWooga. Ever been there?

Hey Miss Siss... that be Wagga Wagga in New South Wales. My dad was at the air force base there when we were little ones, but I have no memories. Lots of Aussie towns have Aboriginal names... Wagga is Aboriginal for Crows!
Where in Queensland? We'll be in Brisbane (Capital of Queensland) on Sunday 10 Feb for a concert at a winery and then we're heading down to Tasmania for a week. Feb is slap bang in the middle of our hot, wet season but don't let that stop him from heading up to Cairns for a visit! :D

He loves warm temps, so he'll be in his element. I'll fill you in on more details of his itinerary. It looks really beautiful there in NSW! I think he'll love it.
Right now, he's out shoveling snow!
I think we're having a blizzard, but no one on the weather has actually used that word!
My cousins on my mom's side cancelled our annual holiday get-together today due to the weather/road conditions. Some of them live in San Diego and they're sort of stuck due to the frozen conditions in the midwest where they had connecting flights. Better to be safe & warm at home on a day like this!
P.S. Ozzie, he will be in South Australia, Victoria, & New South Wales- Adelaide, Melbourne, Waggawagga, & Sydney. He said he really wants to go to Bondi Beach. I'm trying to talk him into leaving a few days early to maximize the benefits of the long trek. He should be getting in sometime around 2/9 your time.:)
Any "must sees" you would recommend for a newbie to OZ?

How bizarre, KV1! Small world as they say, right?
Did you go to CCM @ U.C.?
Next time you're going to be in town, give me a heads up for sure. I know we can cook up something to do.

YYR, but I don't go see them every week. Just thought you might want to get out for a while, that's all. No big.

Seen 'em so many times over the years, got kinda tired. I'd like to see them with the full band, if you'd be interested. They don't have one at the moment, but I'm sure they will soon enough. They kicked butt at Taste of Clermont a few years ago- our old buddy came to visit from L.A. and jammed majorly w/ the boys!

Woah, how'd I miss this? That's my (er, Mommy's) hometown. It is a beautiful place. Mom's family's been there since the 1880s (a long time for Montana) - it's home for us!
