I'd have to go with Trombone Shorty and the LPO, but that's me.

Talk about an embarrassment of riches...all I can think of saying is "Happy Holidays!"
PS Trombone Shorty is my choice too

No need to fear here, Nola. Go to Jackson Square from 6-7 and then go see Shorty and the LPO. It's a ten minute trip, fifteen max. I can't get to the quarter that early, but I might go to the church show.

Either way you'll be in church, and your mama would be proud!

Somehow, NOLA, I just can't share your pain lol j/k I would prolly go the way of Windowman's suggestion. After all, there IS Theresa Andersson at the early show. /gumbo wipes the drool off his chin/

There is a Christmas CD from this Trio recorded at St. Louis Cathedral in 2001 "Peace Stories", several songs sung in French. I just pulled it out.
I have to be in New Orleans Tuesday for work, would love to meet up with some THs, I'm leaning towards Shorty & Irvin Mayfield.

Personally, I'd skip both.
But only because it's 1000 mile drive to get there and I don't have any vacation left for another trip to NOLA this year.

Speaking of Irnvin Mayfield, I was driving home from work this afternoon & saw Irvin & Craig Klein chatting outside the China Buffet across the street from our house. :D

If they were eatin at the China Buffet, I'm not sure they'd be interested in my food. ;)
Afterwards, I remembered that Irvin's daddy died in his house in Gentilly during the thing, so maybe Irvin redid the house.
