We got the call from the promoters and will be playing Jazzfest 2007 on the last weekend(Awaiting the formal schedule) This marks Willis Prudhomme's 22nd CONSECUTIVE appearance! This is an unofficial record for consecutive appearances at the world-famous festival.

Not sure about Willis' claim to the record of consecutive appearances. I thought I read somewhere last year that Sherman Washington and the Zion Harmonizers had that record (and add to it each year...).

According to festydave, and all I've researched, the Zion Harmonizers are the only group that has played every year at JF. Snooks missed a couple of years but is prolly #2 for consecutive.
