I don't don't know why, but I would be reluctant to send an email to an address like that for any reason that I could think of! Somehow I would expect naught but spam in rapid return.

There's also a sweet '97 remarque on ebay, signed by all the Neville Bros....$1400, ouch!

I have the same Fats poster, hoping for the same result, bought in a moment of speculative frenzy! Can't remember what I paid for it.

As for the remarquee, just take a few deep breaths, Bry, and the lust will pass!

I can vouch for the poster. He's mailed me cd's free of charge (dumpstaphunk tips) last spring, very nice guy from my correspondence with him. I'm not positive it was that same email address but regardless, nice guy.

I thought I read something about not storing them too long in the tube because the paint started to degrade or crack after awhile. Anyone else remember this? I need to get the Fats poster hung We always seem to lag a year or so behind. Love my posters!

You're correct, sir. Posters are best stored flat and separated by acid free paper. Left in tubes the ink can attach to the back of the loop and then fail when unrolled, so if you, like me have failed to heed this advice, unroll your posters very carefully when you decide to remedy that.

I know I saw a liner paper when I recently took a few in for framing. It's possible it was in the one I bought on ebay and not the ones I bought at fest. dammit, now I'll have to check too!

You know there were a few different publishers between 90 & 98, perhaps there is some contractual glitch during that timeframe that precludes them from showing it?

Yes, I have a spare, but it isn't worth $1400. It's on a rim in the trunk of my car.:) Need to borrow it?

That's weird. The '97 Nevilles used to be listed on the site, I'm sure. It was an Art4Now publication.

Couple of months ago I finally had the Fats framed. Had two posters (mail order) in the tube as received from Art4Now. I thought there was a sheet of paper between them, but the two were just stacked with a sheet of paper on top, then rolled. So the bottom one was stored in contact with the back of the top one. There was some ink transferred to the back of the top poster, but I couldn't see any damage to either poster.

yah, the whole "still in original tube" thing seems to be popular amongst the jazzfest poster set, but is something frowned upon by the general poster/print collecting community....any print that I have which is not hanging on the wall is stored flat in big ole' mylar bags with an acidfree foamboard backing to keep it nice and straight...

while storing a print rolled up for a few years isnt that bad, the longer you store it like this, the more likely it is that the ink will crack when its finally unrolled and laid flat...

collectors tend to be a bit neurotic about stuff like this, i feel its better safe than sorry...

just my $.02....now whose got my 1977 fest poster?!@#% :)
