Don’t miss Jazz and Jambalaya! At Arlington Street Church, Boston, Saturday, January 27th, 6PM-9PM. Tickets are $35. ($25 for students and seniors). An evening of New Orleans music and food provided by Boston musicians and chefs to benefit the rebuilding of First Unitarian Universalist Church, New Orleans. Poetry and art by local artists will add to the "Big Easy in Beantown" experience. You can get tickets by sending a check to Arlington Street Church, 351 Boyleston Street, Boston, MA 02116-3399 (Attention: Jazz & Jambalaya). All checks should be made out to: Arlington Street Church, with a note in the memo line that it is for “Jazz & Jambalaya.” You will pick up your tickets at the will call table at the event. For further information, go to www.ASCBoston.org (http://www.ASCBoston.org)
(this was forwarded to me by a friend. Not sure if it's appropriate to pass along something associated with fundraising for a specific church...I am not a member of ASC and am not sure if I'm going but am forwarding it anyway...JP)

Hey MC...yes, I'll be going to JF this year, first weekend. As a matter of fact, I confirmed my usual condo rental this morning. Are you going?
No, I did not travel the 75 miles for jerky. But that sign certainly livened things up for my drive in the middle of the Mojave Freakin' Desert. Thanks for asking!

MGumbo, I think I'm going. Let's keep in touch via this thread and maybe we can say hello at the event. I don't believe we've ever met. I hope the event serves dinks.
