My gypsy cab of choice in NOLA is a lady named Robin...she has been driving us to and from the fairgrounds for 3 years now...

Is he the guy who moved to TX (now doing real estate there), who drives a van with food and beer for his customers?

Very nice man, very gracious, but with a tough story to tell now, like so many others. :(
I like the way that his rate is "whatever you feel is appropriate": After drinking his beer and eating his chicken, he always gets a pretty generous sum from my friends and I!
I still get texts from him once in a while, asking to keep him in mind if I'm interested in any TX real estate. :)

Even though he doesn't have beer and chicken, I'm a big fan of Dan the taxi man. And his twin brother, Don. :)
