First, I didn't know the ovation channel existed, nor did I know I got it until last night.

I was about asleep in the bed and heard Ivan talking (thought I was dreaming in my semi-sleepy state).
According to VH-1's "Rock on TV," the Ovation Network will be broadcasting an hour-long show titled "Music Express: The Neville Brothers" on Saturday 11/11 at 8:00pm est and again at midnight.

Music Express: Neville Brothers
The Neville Brothers represent the essence of half a century of New Orleans music distilled within one family unit. They have individually and collectively been making an impression on R 'n' B, Rock 'n' Roll, Soul, Funk and Jazz since the early fifties. And as their most recent album "Walkin' in the Shadow of Life" proves, they're still funky and still cool.

If anyone here gets that channel, and can make a copy of the show for me, please email me to make necessary arrangements. Thanks! Jon Tyler (updates@nevilletracks.com)
I only saw 20 minutes before falling asleep but what I saw was really good.

Check it out if you can!!! It looked pretty old, anyone seen this before?

Thanks McG. Never heard of this channel before, either, but just went to their site ( www.ovationtv.com (http://www.ovationtv.com)) and they have LOTS of interesting music & arts documentaries, & a series called "Art in the City" featuring several cities, including my personal faves, Chicago & NOLA.

I'll definitely be checking the listings for what's on ovation regularly.

It's a pretty good channel. I'm not sure if it's only on DirecTv. They don't seem to have a lot of programming yet so shows repeat quite often. I'm sure the Neville's show will repeat shortly. It was listed as 2005, I believe.

Ovation has bought a lot from BBC. I am really enjoying Beat Route w/Jools Holland. It's a few years old but Jools is timeless!!

I don't have direct tv so it must be on at least some local cable systems. I just moved and I did not have it on my old cable, looks like a really cool channel though.

They have given all art forms one outlet. It's very diverse.

I was rather disappointed with the show. I personally don't like his take on art in any of the episodes. I suppose the fact that I find him whiny & annoying doesn't help. ;)
