I'm finally starting to deal with my pics and clips from Jazz Fest. Found this one and thought I'd share. It's not the best and it's kind of short, but it was a fun moment.
I took it the day that it r*ined. As the water got deep on the Fairgrounds, I got a little nervous and took refuge at Liuzza's. While watching CNN and enjoying a couple of bloodies, the rain let up and they announced on the news that there was music happening on a few stages. So, I went back in and the first sounds that caught my ears were a bit crazy...

That was quite a day...I was soaked to the bone and shivering in the cool weather, but catching that little bit of music convinced me that I could stick it out until the end of the day. :)
Tangie...I'm trying to save a few coins, so I probably won't make it next weekend. But if I find a cheap flight...I might be able to do a hit and run Friday night - Sunday afternoon trip. You going down?

That is the pork chop people. They are a trip. They gave me little pork chop pin three years ago. You gott go say hello next fest. Very fun loving people.
Does anyone know if they are threadheads? I could swear that I first knew of them from the old board.....

The pork chop added a certain porcine-like air to the proceedings! What a hoot! I was hiding in the grandstand at this moment and missed the whole thing. Isn't this Corona's favourite fest moment? Or one of them at least?
