Go to the Paul Sanchez myspace, www.myspace.com/paulpoppysanchez. We just put up the song "Home", written by Paul and originally on his former band's CD "Voodoo Shoppe". The live track is from the recent "Wednesday in the Park" series in New Orleans Lafayette Park.

This version, with an all star band that includes David Torkanowsky, Sonia Tetlow, Mary LaSang, Ivan Neville, Eric Bolivar (Bonerama) Big Sam, Craig Klein (who takes the vocal on the first verse), and Shamarr on trumpet and vocal, REALLY brings the message home. Hard to listen and not get chills, especially as Craig sings about St Bernard, his former home, and Shamarr of the Lower 9th. Very powerful and very emotional, and I'm sure the way Poppy envisioned it being interpreted when he wrote it.

Also, just a couple of quick reminders, only one week left to order Shamarr's new cd and get free shipping, and I hope a lot of you will be able to make it out for his show at dba on November 1st.

Thanks for listening!!

Kimball

Paul just added "Foot of Canal Street", a song he co-wrote with John Boutte, to his myspace, also from the show at Lafayette Sq. Enjoy!!

Cheers,
