My son and I will be in town for Swampfest. We are flying into Baton Rouge and the first thing my son would like to try is a soft shell crab poboy. This is his first time in LA. Can anyone give their input on who has the best poboys in BR? Thanks in advance.

When in Baton Rouge, i love muffaletta's from Pocorello's...it's the real deal....it's a lil Louisiana/Italian deli with an amazingly good wine selection....i know they have po boys...couldn't say whether they have softshell crab though...i know what good am i?

I too would recommend Mandina's for just about anything...

Haven't been to the Baton Rouge location, but oh my, the original on Canal is definitely 'a must'.
