Shamarr Allen's new CD, "Meet Me On Frenchmen Street" will be out on October 11th. As many of you know, there will be a CD release party on Frenchmen St that night that will start with a reception at the Blue Nile at 6:00pm, followed by a second line at 7:00pm with the Hot 8 Brass band to Snug Harbor for 2 shows at 8:00pm and 10:00pm. Many of the special guests on the CD will be sitting in with Shamarr as well.

sure was :) Great song huh? Shamarr wrote it....not many songs about Frenchmen St....if any...
