I always remind Mr. John about the time we witnessed a miracle at the Rock n Bowl circa 1995 or '96. One of my absolute favorite things during jazzfest was the always raucous Boo vs. Beau accordian matches for title of "King of Zydeco". It was getting late and everyone was pretty well lubricated. John decides that it is going to come down to a "bowl off" between Boozoo and Beau Jocque. Boozoo picks up a ball with two hands a looks like he has never even seen a bowling ball before. He makes his way to the lane walks up and drops the ball and it rolls slowly down the lane. Wouldnt you know it ? BAM its a strike. The place goes beserk and Beau just shakes his head and smiles.... Man I miss those guys.

I missed getting to the RnB this year (sob), but it's a priority in 2007. I am so happy to hear it will still be there, it's one of a kind and it would be criminal if the pins fell forever!
