*edited to say that the poor, struggling doggie seen in the first few minutes is later seen in the attic doing fine.

that was very heavy.......
he kept talking about other people who needed his help.....
snakes on the roof, boats on the roof...no help in site...
like he said he was lucky to be alive...
the water went from the ground to the roof in 3 minutes...

Mr. friend's in-laws just moved back into their home in Chalmette. As for my friend, he found a house in Destrehan and his brother-in-law took a job and moved to Virginia.

Sorry Paul. I usually don't share that kind of stuff, but was compelled to share this one. Speaking of prepared. everybody laughs at us because we are the only house in town with our windows boarded up....

remind me to give you a serious knoodgie when i see you.... howdaya' spell knoodgie???.....In New Yawk, we spelled it "noogie" (hard "g"), a hard bent knuckle applied with a forceful twisting motion most commonly to the skull of the victim in a headlock.

Thanks.

I don't mean to be such a baby about that, but pets and babies and small children struggling in the storm just disturbs me way too much.

No, I feel the same way! I can't stand to see animals get hurt.

Thanks, Jenn. I still can't watch it straight through. I'll watch some more tonight.
