According to my brand new 2008 Old Farmer's Almanac the forecast for the Deep South (Area 8)....

April 25-30 Sunny, cool, then warm
May 1-10 Sunny, warm

Looks like a winner!

The accuracy of this almanac is pretty amazing...read somewhere that their predictions since they were first published are something like 88 or 89 percent accurate-which is amazing for a book that gets published so far in advance of the winter.
This is the old Farmers almanac (published in Maine) rather than the Farmers almanac (Published in New Hampshire) which has a lower success rate in what I use it for.

I prefer reading the foam marks on a pint glass of recently consumed Sam Adams Black, Newcastle or Turbodog. Unfortunately I'm not good at deciphering the future so I have to repeat it many times.

in the prooduction office, we light a st jude candle, we have to have a blessed palm made into a cross, i am thinking of doubling up this year with a buddah statue and a mezulla(sp) to put outside the office door
maybe we need a community outdoor alter to the sun gods
