I'm hooked on The Gilmore Girls as are most of the other guys at the post office where I work.I recently had a NC-17 type dream starring the grandma on the show and myself.

I thought I was going to be embarassed to post mine, but with that lead in Johnny . . . ;)
Oh, let's see, Desperate Housewives, Amazing Race, Nip/Tuck, Bachelor, Survivor, Lost, the Nine, Friday Night Lights, How I Met Your Mother (which I just found annoying when it started) -- I'm sure there are others, thank you TiVo!
Amy Winette

Oops, you said one! Then it would have to be Nip/Tuck right now, but that will change when, for example, the Sorpranos are back with their final episodes.

Survivor is my only must see. I could watch the Food Network all day long if I was home, but I'm not that crazy about the shows they have at night. I'm a sucker for Seinfeld and Sex & the City reruns. I still laugh at Seinfeld stuff I've seen 100 times.
Myth Busters, Lost, ACL, Nova, This Old House, anything with Bill Moyers

I'm watching "Men In Trees" with Anne Hecshe, it's TFF, and "Jericho" the apocopolypto show, other than the regular PBS stuff, that's it.

That's a good point, if we're talking not currently on I have to go Sex & the City too, there hasn't been anything that good since. I have all the DVDs, but my sis in MT actually has them right now, and I've yet to rewatch the last half of season six!
Csoul, if Boston Legal makes you want to be an atty, you would be sorely disappointed by the every day drugery and lack of theatrics in the court room -- haha!

I'm with you Deacon. Entourage is the best show I have seen on TV. Can't wait for the next season. I really though Lucky Louie was great, but hear that it won't be back. Too bad. I loved how outrageous it was. Sure beat that terrible show with Lisa Cudrow.
Love Rescue Me too, but can be hard to take sometimes. Tough show.
Love The Wire on HBO too. Can't wait for the Sopranos to come back. Guess I'm stuck on HBO shows!

jada...
hate to break it to ya but deadwood is done (almost)... was a big fan myself, from episode one... what a great show!
read that they have a two hour finally that will show in the spring and that will be it for the series... for whatever reason, HBO rarely seems to run a series for more then a couple of years or so (saprano's and sex & the city exception)
I only saw the first 3 episodes this season, planned on catching up with OnDemand, but it's gone....
Lovin' The Wire yet again though!

Family Guy, Simpsons, King of the Hill and of course South Park.

Entourage and Sopranos

I also love Curb your Enthusiasm on HBO

South Park - definitely a can't miss for me.
And right now, Weeds on Showtime.
And of course most of the HBO series when they are on - Deadwood, Entourage, etc. in the past included Sopranos, Rome, the carnival one.

'Dead Like Me', which unfortunately are re-runs from HBO, where it was cancelled after only 2 seasons. Love the quirkiness of it.
I also love Curb your Enthusiasm on HBO
Just chuckling remembering some of last night's season premiere of "Curb Your Enthusiasm," and was wondering if the show was ever discussed here much. We don't really have any "can't miss" shows any more (even fell away from "Treme" this season; DVR'd them and plan to watch later this summer), but this is one I am very glad to see return. I had forgotten how well he masters the balance between extremely uncomfortable and extremely hilarious. Last night reminded me, with healthy doses of both...

Surprised nobody else likes Deadliest Catch, my fave. Also impressed someone else likes Trailer Park Boys, which I luv (not shown any more on DirectV, I got all 8 seasons on DVD) Ice Road Truckers, Swamp People, Swamp Loggers all that workin' man stuff....
Also somewhat embarassed to admit I watch most of the "Real" stuff (Housewives, World... ) real my ass; spoiled rich bishes & kids who don't have to work & just drink all the time. They always strive for ethnic diversity, but a how about a kid who doesn't drink, now that would be diversity!
And of course re-runs of the great comedies like Seinfeld & Simpsons. Someone mentioned still laughing at Seinfeld episodes they already knew, me too, even still laughing at Honeymooners episodes where every line of dialogue is permantly memorized.... now thats classic comedy!
My seester wrote 2 books on the Honeymooners

We also have all the Trailer Park Boys on dvd (even the Christmas episode) and watch them often.
I watch The Mentalist, Glee, any Rupaul show on Logo (Drag U and Drag Race) and So You Think You Can Dance. Usually, when I am watching those shows, David is off watching TPB or Mystery Science Theater 3K on dvd. :D

Breaking Bad is pretty freaking amazing. I just watched the first 3 seasons over the last couple of weeks. So many moments where I'm just sitting in front of the tv open-mouthed saying "Oh my God." 4th season begins Sunday.

I'm going to count the Daily Show With Jon Stewart and The Colbert Report as one show!
We DVR them every night, even when we're on vacation. Wouldn't miss them, even if it's 'old news'!
Treme
ALSO:
House (for Hugh Laurie's work; otherwise not compelling)
Psych (fun comic escapist fare; the "out-take" at the end of each episode is sometimes as good as the episode itself)
Hawaii 5-0 (for the visuals, both geographic and human)
The Closer (our crime series of choice)
Masterpiece Theater

Saturday Night Live, Austin City Limits and Celebrity Rehab.
I didn't think it was possible for television to get worse but between Jersey Shore, Nancy Grace, and other "reality" shows; I'm constantly amazed.
As a result I only watch sports(baseball, hockey)PBS(Nova, Nature, American Experience)Turner Classic Movies, and cartoons(Family Guy, Archer, Metalocalypse).
TV still knows how to makes smart, intelligent programs(Leverage, Necessary Roughness, Law & Order). They just chose not to.

Treme of course
Big Bang Theory
and House Hunters International ..thats about it ...
O and my ABC soaps ...All My Children and One Life to Live ..but they are soon to be cancelled

So many, here are some of the biggies:
Men of a Certain Age
Treme
True Blood
House
Sons of Anarchy
I won't even get into all the other non story type shows (House Hunters, Pawn Stars, Storage Wars, etc)
We mostly watch old movies on TMC & AMC. Deadliest Catch, Axmen for workmen reality shows. Love the 'treasure' shows like Antiques Roadshow, Pawn Stars, American Restorations. HBO- Treme of course. Sorry to see In Treatment was canceled, really enjoyed the acting, writing and format. Also love the science shows like Nova and some of the shows on the Sci Channel, such as Through The Wormhole with Morgan Freeman.
All My Children and One Life to Live ..but they are soon to be cancelled

I was just going to post an article about this too- being an ABC soap fan for many years.. but not sure it will go over on the internet.. but at least they're going to try... can't believe ABC cancelled them to go with more 'reality' and 'self improvement' TV..... there are still sooooooooo many fans- too bad most DVR the soaps due to work, but the networks seem to forget about those viewers....

I'll give a shout out to Modern Family. The second season wasn't quite as good as the first but still a very well written comedy.
