man, i really hate to ask...but...i've got three huge things on my plate right now...1) just diagnosed with graves disease 2) drip pan in attic dripped in my ceilings - new ceilings and HVAC a must in the near future and 3) i just interviewed for this new fantastic job...very challenging and rewarding...and it:o pays much much more than i am making now. I know these are silly things, there is so much suffering in the world and folks with real problems....but just a little prayer or karma kiss would really help. love you guys and the power of the threadheads...

If the medicine is helping from what I have read you are well on the way to feeling way much better...it appears that after some period of treatment some people who respond to the medication even go into remission from Graves and thier thyroid returns to normal...so make sure your blood work is done on a regular basis......and here's to the post that says I LANDED THE JOB!!!

Let me tell you...the power of a Threadhead hug is like no other. i felt it last night when i got home...like a wave washing over me. i do believe in God and all the powers of love...and it felt great. i got home, put on my favorite Neville Bros cd, opened an abita and cried. it was a good cry, very cleansing. thank you all so very very very very much. i feel so much better and in control today. side note: i changed my united way pledge to go to New Orleans...giving always makes you feel better, ain't it? love you guys from the bottom of my heart.

I remember when Barbara Bush was diagnosed with Graves and learning a bit about it . . . the good thing is that it is VERY manageable with treatment.

thank you! well, my health is really coming along. the meds seem to be working, sleeping is still a problems, so i have to take pills for that. no word on the job and the furnace is holding on. life is good!

good to hear the meds are doing what they are supposed to be...I find a large amount of Tequila before bed gives me a great night rest :p good karma for the job and the furnace-as long as you keep that positive attitude you will be fine
