St. Anna's Episcopal Church
1313 Esplanade Avenue
(Between N. Rampart & N. Claiborne)
in the Old Parish Building
The general public is invited with no cover charge

Every Wednesday, you are invited to attend A healing
worship service with live music at 6pm, followed by
dinner with live music entertainment from 7-9pm.
Each Wednesday features different bands plus a music
jam during the break.

Dinner is free for musicians
$5 Dinner donations requested for non-musicians

Damn! I mean this is the kind of stuff that makes New Orleans so special. Where else can you catch talent like this performing as part of a church event?

i know its amazing...and theyve beeen holding it every wed. nite for more than
a year now....so many good people have performed there...
and in between sets, lots of excellent street musicians, and amateur musicians
perform as well.....good soul food is served....and for non musicians,
its only $5 for the dinner...the music is free for everyone...

That's the ridiculous part. Sure, what is the definition of poor? Making minimum wage and getting supper and a great concert for $5 or making $200M per year and paying $150 for Clapton tickets, $8 for beer, and $20 for parking?
