What happened last week? All I saw was the score, thought it was a misprint.
The matchups in Week 4 aren't quite as good as last week.

I wish it was a misprint. That one hurt!
I bet mine is more lopsided than yours...
Rice (NOLA) @ #7 Texas.
A long and ugly series (at least for the Blue and Gray). I believe we've beaten the Cattle twice in my lifetime.

Maybe this is your year NOLA. Haven't followed how Rice is doing but Texas has certainly been far from impressive so far. (And yes I realize that's the pot calling the kettle black...but my Noles weren't preseason #2!)

I agree about the milk cows, but Rice is off to a less-than-impressive 0-3 start (including a loss to I-AA Nichols State) so I'm not too hopeful. Of course we started last year 0-3 and yet finished 7-4 and went to our first bowl game (New Orleans Bowl!) in 45 years. I guess it just goes to show you there are too many bowl games these days...

In that case, your proud name will reside next to your school on Page 1 where it belongs!
I think Michigan beats Penn St this weekend....by double digits.

This is very nice, McG. Thank you for doing this.
I'm watching southern football from up here in the frozen yankee-land (and loving it, even though Ole Miss has yet to win, and won't this week either). However, in just a couple of weeks, I'll be tailgating in The Grove, prior to our Homecoming game. Woo-Hoo!

Which of the following is the most satisfying Cry-Baby coach to see in bitter defeat to LSU:
a) Steve Spurrier on Saturday.
b) Tommy Tuberville on 10/20
c) Nick Sabin on 11/3
d) Pete Carroll in New Orleans on 1/7/08
e) all of the above.
I'd like to go with e), but a) is sooooo good. Love to see that whiney boy lose.

c) Nick Sabin on 11/3
where's the respect for the guy that put all those all-americans on your roster? :D
And I go with 'D', Carroll. I would love to see LSU maul the Trojans! Especially after the media made such a big stink over his comments which were nothing but the truth about the Pac 10.

I shouldn't call Sabin a CB. He hasn't lost yet. The Tide is looking much stonger than I thought. Should be a great game in Tusc Saturday night :)

LSU I take it?
I thought I made my preferences known earlier...;)
Hey Fighting Tigers!
Hey! Fightin' Tigers! Fight all the way!
Hey! Fightin' Tigers! Win the game today!
You've got the know-how, You're doin' fine
Hang on the the ball as you hit the wall
And smash right through the line.
You've got to go-o-o-o! for a touchdown
Ru-u-un! up the score!
Make Mike the Tiger stand right up and roar. ROAR! !! !!
Give it all of your might as you fight tonight,
And keep the goal in view, Victory for LSU!!!
Touchdown!
Tigers, Tigers! They've come to town,
Tigers, Tigers! Make that first down.
Give them the ball now and see how they go,
Smashing the line with runs and passes high and low.
Touchdown, touchdown, it's Tiger's score.
Give 'em HELL and a little bit more.
Come on, you Tigers, Touchdown, you Tigers,
Touchdown for LSU!
Fight For LSU!
Like knights of old, we fight to hold,
The glory of the purple-gold.
We'll carry through, and die or do
To win this game for dear old LSU.
Keep fighting for the higher score,
Come on, you Tigers, fight for more, for more.
Come on, you Tigers, fight, fight, fight
For dear old LSU.
(break up strain)
We are the bravest, we are the strongest football team in history.
Here's to the glory, here's to the honor, marching on to victory.
Cheer for the Tigers, cheer for the Tigers, Tigers fight, fight, fight!
Alma Mater
Where stately oaks and broad magnolias shade inspiring halls,
There stands our dear old Alma Mater who to us recalls
Fond memories that waken in our hearts a tender glow
And make us happy for the love that we have learned to know.
All praise to thee, our Alma Mater, molder of mankind.
May greater glory, love unending, be forever thine.
Our worth in life will be thy worth, we pray to keep it true,
And may thy spirit live in us... forever, L-S-U.

Hey Fighting Tigers!
There's alot of Tigers out there but I have you now Rosetree!!
Alabama is 7-1 when playing Georgia in Tuscaloosa.
I really hope this trend continues! Of course, Georgia won the last game in Tuscaloosa. I caught the game winning FG in my lap which is really sort of brutal! HA
Against my better judgment, I picked the Dogs over the Tide.
1st pre-season home hockey game for the Thrashers and some exciting division races in both leagues make this a baseball, football, hockey watching weekend.

I like the Dogs in the spread also Moon. The only reason Alabama is favored is because they are at home. I can see them being favored by 3 but it's above that and that, I don't get.
