Following his appearance at Austin City Limits Festival, Bob Dylan will be doing a major tour this fall. He will be appearing with Elvis Costello and Amos Lee. I just got 7th row for a really nice venue. Anyone else making plans to see Bob on this tour?

We've opted out. Once a decade is enough...
So you went with the $180 seats?

As Zimmy sings in one of his songs..."I can't help it if I'm luck-y-y-y-y"...!:D

Oh, you kid!
No, I checked on availability before I asked Mrs. Ohio if she wanted to go. There are no $75 seats left, but the row behind you is still available as "hot seat" tix for $180. Hey, you get an undetermined Dylan article of merchandise, plus a nifty collectible laminated pass (with lanyard). woohoo! :D

Not quite as much as a night at Tip's, huh?
Not such a bad deal then! :p

Well, Ohio, since you brought it up, I went ahead & bought Hot Seats for the next night at Wright State. So I'm blaming it all on you! :p

Will we have to wear hot pants to get in, I wonder.

Elvis C. is playing that night; doesn't look like he's playing the Taft, does it?
It's only $170 per ticket in Dayton. All a matter of perspective I guess.

I love Amos Lee. He used to tour with Clapton.
When did you last see Zimmie?

We might have gone for it if EC was here. Last saw ZimmerMan at Fest a couple years ago.

That was a great show!
A lot of peeps were pissed about it because he reinterpreted his own songs and didn't play them like they sound on recordings.

Very true! Next time we get together I'd like to discuss that....

Din sounds good- have you been to the cajun place in Alexandria (?)

No, haven't heard of it. You been?
Like to check it out, but I kinda had my heart set on one Chef Robert's places. It's kind of a special occasion.

Then again, maybe we should go Tex-Mex?

Gosh, remember the dinner we had @ Dee Felice's Cafe on NYE? Mmmm...very tasty, great ambience, and wonderful company, as I recall.

It's gonna depend really on if Mrs. O has to work that day...
I always enjoy Dee's- good ersters! Was a great evening on NYE! Ate at Chef's bistro in Covington recently. Patti wasn't impressed but I loved it. Simple french country fare, only a few menu items but new every day. Been to all of Chef's places recently except haven't been to Pigall's in a while. Doesn't seem right eating there and then going to the Southgate. We'd have to change clothes!

:D Yes, twice. Once to get in the door and once in the parking lot after dinner!
