I have to eat the no salt Zapps, which are quite good. They also Saints chips & LSU chips during football season.

I remember several years ago they sold chips made from sweet potatoes. For some reason they stopped marketing them after a short run.

I like the Crawtators and Dill flavors too!! (drool)
I haven't tried the Creole Tomato and Tabasco, but it sounds good - hopefully it's not too, too spicy (I'm a bit of a wimp with super spicy stuff).

Creole tomato are my faves, crawtaters 2nd, the caribbean key lime sound way tasty...the little store within my company's building initially sold them but have not for days-I and the guy who worked there were the only ones buying them I guess. I am going to have to place a mail order soon.

I've never seen them in any stores here. I ordered a mixed flavors 8-pack by mail order last December. They were gone within two weeks. At the time, I could get the salt and black pepper by mail order. They aren't available now... it's probably just as well.

I think the same folks who make Zapp's also make "Dirty Chips"
http://www.dirtys.com
which I've seen here in SF. (Unless there's more than one chip-maker in Gramercy LA.)
They don't make a craw-tator version, though.

The perfect lunch: Meat pie, Zapp's regular and a tall glass of icy cold milk.
Got your 4 food groups in there; meat, starch, dairy and pepper.
I only do this once a month. I swear !

ohhhhhh -- they have the cracked pepper and salt flavor!!!
I'm not much of a pie person but my husband loves pie. I checked the link and they appear to be individual mini-pies. Is that right?

Hey Cleophus...about a month ago I was in Cost Plus (the Corte Madera store) and they had Zapp's chips! That was the first time I had ever seen them anywhere in the SF Bay Area. I'm going back this weekend to buy some more...hopefully they still have 'em!

Whoa -- cool! Thanks for the tip!
I picked up some Dixie Blackened Voodoo a few months ago at a Cost Plus in Oakland. I'll have to check back to see if they have Zapp's, so I can make myself a healthy meal of chips & beer. :)

I had never thought of it until Cleophus mentioned it but i've had both dirty chips and zapps and they taste exactly the same. And the zapps are in the same place in my kroger store that the dirty chips were many years before them. I did a little research and it does appear they are one and the same.
Get you some dirtys if they don't have zapps, cisco.

Hey Tabasco!
Wegman's in Woodbridge had the small (snack size) bags of Zapp's last time I looked. They were by the take-out section of the store. We only get them for special occasions (like Mardi Gras, or when we make muffaletas) or I would just eat them all the time and get very fat! I love them, especially Crawtators.
Now, where can we get Hubig's pies? In all our years of going to NOLA, we never had them until this year. We saw a speical on the Food Network and they went to the Hubig's factory. Did anyone see it? They showed the fried pies going through the "icing waterfall"! And I said "I must try these!" Got some at Matassa's market the first day, and went back every day the rest of the trip to try more flavors!
I might have to do a pie mail order.

It figures Wegman's would have them, what don't they carry! I was there last week for some good espresso beans. I think I found them in about 5 different places in that store! So thanks for the location!
THANK YOU!!! :D
