As much as I like the CSI Vegas edition,.. I literally get sick if I try to watch the Miami version... I give it a try every 6 months or so,.. it can't be done...

Caruso was surprizingly decent in the "Mad Dog and Glory" movie... and he played a believable Irish mob dude in Hill Street Blues some 25 years ago... but what the hell are people thinking giving this guy regular work....

Shatner has always been super-cheesy, but he has never really taken himself seriously as an actor, whereas Caruso thinks so highly of himself that he left the best job he ever got (NYPD Blue) because he thought he was a movie star-in-waiting...ala Chevy Chase (who unbelievably can say that he had a more sucessful film career than Caruso!). I've always loved Shatner's self-deprecating sense of humor...his cheesy album reflects that. BTW, Shatner's current role on Boston Legal is perfect for his personality...best role for him since Cpt. Kirk, IMAO.

CSI-Miami has excellent babe watching potential. All three female leads are yummy. Caruso's Hill Street Blues character was the teenage leader of an Irish street gang called The Shamrocks. My favorite episodes of the show were the ones that dealt with the gangs. Jesus Martinez was one of the best characters ever written for television.

And the last album also got excellent reviews.It may be that you get to see him early on in the tour(s). I have seen them at least 10 times (here in the midwest) and his voice was poor the last six at least. Quite froggy, I assure you. I recently watch the Quad tour dvd, and it's not so hot there either.

I was laying in bed dozing off last night, barely watching CBS, and I slightly woke up and there HE was...David Caruso....It was the very beginning of the show when he HAS to put his glasses on and make a stupid A%$ comment.
He proceeded to take his glasses on and off twice in the opening scene so I amost jumped up outta bed to bring this thread back and bit$& about how bad he is.
