No sound with these particular little guys. I've got a sound clip somewhere on my hard drive -- I will have to go searching for it.
In the absence of hamster dance, there is always this one:

Well, considering I live here I don't exactly have to book anything...but I did just get some potential JF lagniappe in the mail. Does that count?
Amy Winette

Absolutely! Lagniappes, you're way ahead of the game.
Aww, those badger are cute Saturn. But nothing can replace the hamsters for me :)

Tuesday before until Friday of 2nd... odd times, but we have to be back in Oz.
Big airfare booked; US airfares booked; accommodation booked; lagniappe packed; brass passes done; boxing kangaroo flag bought (as a gift for some US folk flying an ozzie flag we met last fest); not sure if amyloves has made all our restaurant rezzies yet!
How many days?

Booked at the lovely St. Pierre on Burgundy, Monday of 2nd week through Tuesday after. Usually travel with 4 or 5 other members of the krewe de'wemu, sometimes more. I was gonna show off the lovely little courtyard pool that keeps me mobile during the fest, but they went upscale and made it a panorama and I couldn't figure out how to copy that. I usually can't drag my krewe away for dinner so I'm game for dinner excursions!

Hey Corona, how are you...I ended up quitting the job I had, with the supervisor who approved my time off for this past FQF & JF. To recap: she approved the three weeks off about a month before Katrina. I went. I got back, and was greeted by nasty memo saying how I jammed her up, and it took five people to cover me while I was gone. I got another job that approved the time off before I was hired. I really thought JF was a once and done thing. There is such a thing as "spirit of the festival". A woman my wife works with and her companion had gone to JF for years. Then we convinced them to give FQF a try. They went a few times, but for 07 they're going to JF. Both are NOLA & JF veterans. I'm sure that it'll be more fun since now I won't be alone.

Man, do I feel like a slacker. I have yet to book anything. I am planning the whole run again. /fingers crossed/ My brother is supposed to go 1st weekend so I will be doing 1st weekend through the patry for sure. I just need to work out details but the whole run was so fun last year that it will be hard to pass up if it is even remotely possible.

YYR, Corona. I was content with the one weekend (or so I thought) the past fests. I believe it is the TH experience that makes the Fest experience so much more enjoyable. Can you believe we are almost half--way. It seems like just yesterday you almost killed me at the patry with the syringe of Jello shot. :D

I started going to the fest and this board at the same time. I just kept up-ing the amount of days each year. This year bringing in first Friday too. Missing that last year almost killed me. Can't take it lol! The Threadhead Experience is just too damn fun :)

That's still one of my favorite memories from last year's fest. I giggle everytime I think of it. For those that don't know, we had jello shots in syringes at the patry last year. Chippie and I were trying to shoot one in myteer's mouth and it was really hard to push the plunger, Chippie didn't realize until we saw Dan's face that she forgot to take the cap off. So, she ended up shooting the cap into the back of his throat with some major force. Too damn funny :D :D

Sure, I will look it up and let you know, think it was Animal Rescue New Orleans, someone put up a whole website of volunteer activities last year and got some press on the board -- who was that??
