I was thinking I maybe shouldn't start a thread about this subject BUT SHE deserves it!
My Dear Tan, you are amazing. Me and Jude received our signed Mem Shannon CD in the mail yesterday. We are now playing it, after reading everyone that played on this beautiful recording at TIPS! We are both smiling ear to ear.
WOW! That is all I have to say. God should have made dozens of you. Thank you so much for this gift.

I've found out a couple of times that Ozzie doesn't like public appreciation, but dangit! She SO ROCKS!!!!! She has done so much, not just for New Orleans, but for Fest4kidz, NOLASPCA, and some other stuff. Anyway, until she makes us take this thread off the board:

LOL Mel!! I had forgotten about that!
Ozzie would smile politely but have this blank look everytime Mel said something to her and then she'd look at me and I'd say, "She SAID......" and repeat it less drawl-y. That was freaking hilarious.
And Jenn you're right....she'll have a fit when she sees this thread. Ozzie, I'm sorry, your secret's out. You're a sweetheart. But I won't tell anybody.

Okay, I'm sorry but I have to jump on the Oz bandwagon, too. I just received two wonderful wall hangings for Chicklet's new pink room and THE CUTEST little rainboots I have EVER seen. I'll have to take a picture of them when my camera finishes charging. Chicklet loved her birthday card, too. It was so pretty!

I'll have to take a picture of them when my camera finishes charging. Chicklet loved her birthday card, too. It was so pretty!

What Chipper didn't mention was that those things were actually bought for another little girl who friggin grew up before I ever got to the post office to send the parcel. That poor girl is prolly in therapy now 'cos she was denied pink flamingos on her bedroom wall as a child. Nice one indeed.

I love Ozzie, but what's even better is that my daughter really loves the Ozzies. Lunch at Fest with the both of you was a highlight of my 14 year old daughter's first fest experience. You are the kindest of people!!!!!!!!!

LOL....just sent Oz a "hip hip hooray" email to harrass her a little more. She replied MAKE IT STOP!! So I need to make sure it doesn't stop quite yet. I'll do that by confessing that I have some Australian coffee for Joey and an Aussie fire station t-shirt for Chicagomike that I completely forgot she gave me to pass on. So Mike....I'll give you your shirt at Voodoo. And Joey...I've got your address somewhere and I promise I'll get that out to you. Sorry yall! I'm hindering Ozzie's wonderfulness!

She knows I have a fish collection from Rosetree and she sent me the most adorable fishy clock from Cairns. I really like it and it wasn't my birthday or anything. :)
