i'm guessing a lot of people goes to http://www.nojazzfest.com/ and clicks on forum.
by using http://www.nojazzfest.com/chat/ you have everything on your screen without the messageboard being inside a box.
i've had http://www.nojazzfest.com/chat in my bookmarks for a few years now. (just now starting to use it)
anyway, i restarted my computer last night and when it came back on, everything was gone like i had just reinstalled windows. i didn't have any bookmarks, nothing in my histore, no email, nothing.
anyway, i just remember looking at the url on this messageboard and noticed it said chat after the nojazzfest.com from before. glad i did. i would hate to be using this site the other way.
