I think I just got a good deal
I book the LeMoyne fo r$100 a day on priceline. Woooooooo Whoooo
I'm staying for the whole enchillada this year 4/24-5/5
OK now I want the cubes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D

There's just something about making that reservation that gets the excitement flowing. Even though you know your're gonna go it just makes it real.

2 1/2 * & 3* FQ and it was my 2nd bid. My first was $90

Cool, NYMama!! I made my reservations for the whole thing about a month ago. At least, I have a room in case I can't get into the one I usually go to. They won't take reservations until six months before the Fest. The St. Louis group has been staying in Metairie for the last three years. It seems to be working better since someone always has a car and it's really very close to a lot of things that we do, like Jacques Imo's, Rock n Bowl, River Shack, etc. And we don't have to worry about FQ parking fees. The best place we ever stayed was in an apartment in the Warehouse District at the Cotton Mill, but they don't take short-term leases anymore. It will be great to see you at both weekends in 2008!:D

i got my room last year for $60.00 a night.
it was the la quinta on camp. 2 blocks from the quarter.
reg. price was $199.00 a night.

Good gosh almighty! I could do the Lemoyne again, worked well last year and $100 is a great price. Only thing is, I am having a wee bit 'o sticker shock as I just booked two weeks in Bali and Hong Kong in November tonight. My nephew is in Bali on a design internship, learning how to build bamboo houses, so my sister and I are going to visit him.
Got my fest flights booked though! I try to use some frequent flyer points for that so they were booked in June.
I will ponder and let everyone know if I what I get at what price....
