Looks like this show is making the rounds on PBS stations. A Lincoln Center 'Jazz for Young People' production, done in NO at the convention center in 4/06. A great show, fun and informative :)
Look for it on your PBS digital channels. This was LPB's first HDTV production.
The 2nd Line at the end is too much fun.

Buddy Bolden, Collective Improvisation. Mayfield and Garland demonstrate.
Drums are the foundation. "The big FOUR!!!. It's all about the 2nd line march.
The bass functions like a clock. Now the concept of syncopation, important. Just the drum and bass demo this... too cool.
Now the front line, trumpet, clarinet and trombone. Audubon Zoo to demo this. Me gotta watch the rest of this...
The 'call and reponse' "My Bucket's goy a hole in it."
St. Louis Blues demonstrates "Groove", then the "Riff" demo.
"Solo" and "Break" concepts introduced. Now all join in for St. Louis Blue demo all the concepts toghther. The students will all 2nd line after this. Nice show.

Enjoy, bream! I'm going out for a peach ice cream cone myself, and a midnite ride on one of the "Land Dolphins" later.
