sure you have no life...fun ain't it?...durning Jazz Fest, I emailed a friend of mine one night and said I'm probably the most boring person down here. I'd get back to the hotel after being at the fairgrounds, shower, crack open a beer and fall asleep watching Law & Order SVU re-runs. On days in between the weekend, I'd catch as many in store plays at LMF as I could. Oh, BTW I recently celebrated #300 post. Only 695 to go.

157 that's it? I thought you had more than that in the Bar on some weekends when we were in full throttle LOL I had a slight name change myself from the old bored. Corrected the spelling from Myteerad to Mightyrad. Cut down on the confusion on what people called me (at least on the bored :p ).

Jason Giambi finally can turn his full attention to playing baseball. Commissioner Bud Selig announced Thursday that Giambi will not be disciplined for his tacit admission to the use of performance-enhancing drugs in a USA Today article in May.

In the wake of Giambi's comments, Selig ordered the Yankees designated hitter to cooperate with former Sen. George Mitchell's steroid investigation. Selig said at the time that any punishment would be determined based on Giambi's level of cooperation.

Selig, speaking at an owners' meeting in Toronto, called this an "appropriate decision."

"He's doing a lot of public-service work, and I think that's terribly important," Selig said of Giambi. "I think it's more important for us to keep getting the message out. He was, I thought, very frank and candid with Sen. Mitchell, at least that was the senator's conclusion."

Said Giambi: "It's over, done with, so I'm through with it. I did whatever I needed to do, so now I can move forward."
