These two messages remind me of something I've been wondering for months.
Why is Private Messaging disabled?
I've seen many posts, including some of my own, that would have been better sent via private messaging, if that thinger was enabled for us.
So, how come?

Been wondering that myself There must be some history involved. With other boards i have been involved with in the past, it created some real backstabbing and hurt feelings. hardly think this bored would succumb to that but another option is to check the members list. All my contact is there. I don't know but it is a neat option, so is chat.

No history, this is the first board that fest has used which even had PM as an option. I imagine there would be additional cost involved for more server use. This is board is just a service provided to us. The boards I've used with PM enabled were 'pay to join' boards.

Hmm, High Sierra uses a board with a very similar format and has PM for free . . .
