Hey Ames, only have a slim lead over 4 c's and 1 d (hmmm, that looks strangely like my old report cards heh heh) so I don't even know if the best of gumbo hexes will help keeping Big Ben off the scoresheet enough to claim a victory.

wow, Big Ben is layin' a big fat goose egg so far. You guys might lose...I know I am in another league- needed Ben to go for about 250 and a couple scores. Could still happen, but not the way he played first half.

Heath Miller is a new addition. In prior weeks, TE has been a black hole for me. But mostly, I lose when others have big weeks against me. That's the way this sport works sometimes.

Last week I started Thomas Jones over Ryan Grant and was going to start the 53 year old Testaverde until he woke up with a back ache and couldnt find his walker! So I replaced him with the 95 yard 2 int. performance Carr. But thats what I get for trying to pick on the Saints awesome pass defense!:rolleyes:

I stupidly picked Testaverde last week too and didn't check the reports the next morning so I got screwed. Lucky enough that I won my match up anyways but still. Nice to see Driver got a few points but Crayton kicked some butt....ugggh! Fell asleep after half-time last night...what the hell happened to Dallas?

I don't know. All deals are delayed a day or two while other owners get a chance to object. But I don't know what happens if that period takes you past kiskoff for the week. The site still says
Note: This trade will be reflected on the lineup for Week 13.
but also
One or more of the players involved in this trade have already begun playing today's game. As a result, you cannot allow this deal until tomorrow.
You could try digging thru the help pages or emailing Yahoo for assistance, but I think it will be resolved before Sunday and you'll know soon enough what you can and can't do.

Saturn plays against the Crustaceans; the other 3 contenders do not play each other.
Four Cats, 2ndliners, Slammers are in with a win; or with a Swagland or Crustacean loss; or with a loss and a loss by one of the other top 3 and the points tiebreak.
Swagland and Crustacean are in with a win; or with a tie and loss by one of the top 3 and the tiebreak; or if they both lose then the tiebreak winner (likely swagland) gets in.

I wasn't talking about the top seed. Just the possible but not plausible scenarios where 4C&1D might get left out of the playoffs altogether.
But nothing I saw now matters anyway. The website will calculate the top 4 seeds itself next Tuesday morning.

Both (!) Rice and Shockey carted off the field kinda sums up my team's year. Healthy running backs and receivers seemed to be a rare breed this year.
