Just took a visit over to jazzfestgrids.com If the rumours are accurate, we already have some good times scheduled for Jazzfest.

So I want to say thanks now to our new Gridmaster -- Dankbass, and to acknowledge the work of his predecessors -- Chris Joseph, Swag and the incomparable Neen, who started it all!

Y'all have outdone yourselves with the hot links in the grids this year....not to mention the fact that these are THE best information. I adore Gambit et al - but when I pack my suitcase I bring copies of these grids for all of my fabulous friends.....truly.

Does anyone know when they will be playing? I'm new to Jazz Fest, is Friday a good day to go?Hi, Steve1, welcome to the "bored" as we call it. I notice that no-one's directly answered your question, so ..... no, no-one knows yet who's playing on what days, unless that information can be found on the artists' websites. The "cubes" you will frequently see referenced are the day-by-day, hour-by-hour, stage-by-stage schedules which we anxiously await each year. Do try to come all three days, but if you can't, and if you're in driving distance, once the schedules are out you can come just on the days your favorite artists are playing.

Steve,
Every day is a good day at Jazzfest and I bet it'll be a great day when you meet up with the threadheads. ( I'm looking forward to that almost as much as the awesome music we're going to hear ):D

A friend of mine called to check before we purchased tickets & was told that Rod Stewart would be the closing act on the first Sunday. I don't know how accurate this info is. Since you were asking about Van & Rod, I thought I'd pass this info on.
