Hope is back in New Orleans. The Dallas Morning News says so. And how can you tell? Because the Essence Fest is back.
At least that's the headline: "Essence festival — and hope — are back in New Orleans".
While I'm certainly glad the Essence is back home in the Dome where it belongs, I think it's just one in a long line of positive signs. Was hope not back when Mardi Gras happened, or Jazzfest, or Voodoo, or Mardi Gras again, or Jazzfest again, or the Ponderosa Stomp?
Though none of those events had Barack & Hillary.
