Y'all are welcome. Hey, MGB, I've found some CBD places open for lunch: Apple Seed Shoppe at 201 st. Charles (2nd floor) and Home Furnishings Store Cafe on the 2nd floor of the furn store at 1600 Prytania.

That's at Halpern's Furniture with the cafe upstairs...what a trip. It's Uptown though, but not far from the CBD. When I worked downtown we'd go there once in a while for lunch. One time a few of us went and one coworker fell in love with a sofa and bought it and the loveseat after we ate. She had been shopping for them and just happened to see what she wanted. We cracked up when she called her husband and told her she had ordered the furniture when she was out to lunch.
