Man, I hope those predictions are indeed "overblown". I don't even want to think about it :(

I own two houses in Marigny and am not that concerned. Don't worry, we all have insurance over here ( I do not have flood insurance by choice, but that is another story ) and we are on high ground so the flooding if any will eventually roll downhill to where the majority of poor and uninsured live. This is where the true devestation will occur. Most people in Marigny/French Quarter also have the means to get out of town when a BIG one is coming.

I love antique glass, barware, and dishes...i used to worry about the "big one" and all my stuff.....i guess i kinda got over it...i would just start over i guess....hey Juana..Staxsun.....that antique glass store in Memphis was the Bomb!!
But I understand BigDad....with all the technology at this countrys' disposal you'd think we could do better than what is currently being done....majority of our threads are about how we could improve things for NOLA...cjuz we love her and want her protected.
