I would love to. Jude has to work but I will ask him what time he goes in..... I would meet up with you if he really can't go. Don't want him to feel the pain of being discluded so soon after our perfect musical week-end. I need to see more NOW!!!
We are planning on going to the Iguana's on Wednesday (this week) at Bowery.

OK, let me know Tangy, would be great if Jude could make it, but I am going solo as of right now and the company would be more then welcome. Can't make the Iguanas......gotta get a little work done this week! Have fun!

If you are, you'll have a good time...the band was smokin' last night here on the North coast of upstate.

Dumpstaphunk was on of the highlights of Bonnaroo last year. I didn't see them on the list this year so a little out of sorts.

Glad to hear it Michelino! (and thx for your offer to help with the NOSC download, but I think I have that taken care of).
Yeah, these guys opened up for Cowboy Mouth at BB Kings a few months ago and they ripped it up. I've been waiting for them to come back around. I will definitely be there.
Nashvegas, they have "Living in A World Gone Bad" from Bonnaroo playing on their website....awesome tune!

Wow, that is nice to hear! Glad they ripped it up. I was considering NOT going tonight so I don't waste my day tomorrow but HECK, I have to now. I love these guys!

Hey, Jazzy,
Dugan and I may be there. We were thinking of going into NYC and seeing Scofield at the Blue Note, but I don't think those plans are going to work at this point. We may hang around here but are teasing the idea of getting to Mexicali. I will e-mail you, but I don't have your number, so give it to me if you have a cell, and I will call you if we wind up making this trip. Dugan is working and won't be here to after 6 p.m. or so. Ms. "Dead Head'' this applies to you! As for Tangled, she most be getting old, unable to pull these back-to-backers anymore...:)

LISTEN UP! I am going to see music here in town tonight. A guy that plays in Nola all the time. Dan Freedman. Just called Jazzy. He has your number!

Sounds good John. Would be great to see you and Dugan, hope you can make it! I'll email ya back. As far as Tangie goes, it is more of a distance/driving/alcohol thing. That was the reference to me moving....next month I'll have a spare bedroom for anyone to crash in!

This was a good show -- but where was everybody? Probably still recovering from Crawfest. Jazzy made it, so did I and Dugan, but it was a pathetically small crowd in general -- I have never seen Mexicali that sparse before.
Anyway, the highlight probably was Ivan, sporting a "Sopranos'' shirt, taking the guys into "Woke Up this Morning'' in honor of playing New Jersey the night before the last Sopranos' episode. They really smoked this, as well as many other funky tunes, though they didn't play all that long, probably one 90-minute set, in light of the small crowd, I suppose...

Agreed with everything Stella said. But one thing to add....although it was a sparse crowd, you would not have known it by watching the band. Although it was a short show, they played hard and seemed to have fun doing it. I give them credit for putting on a good show with little crowd energy (although I tried!).
I got to talk to Ian briefly before they went on.....good guy....he was joking about how they had brought some NO weather with them (because it had just rained) but how it was better then last time they played there because it had snowed.

OMG, why did you get home so late? Partying with the band? That was lots of fun at B.B's.
