forum working oddly and fais do do cam question

I'm finding when I click on the link to read unread posts, it's skipping a LOT of posts... anyone else finding that?

while I'm at it, is there an archive for the fais do do cam? John and I wandered over that way on the first Saturday and wondered if I could look through and maybe (yeah, sure) find out if it actually took photos of us.

Mama, I noticed this several weeks ago. I think before you exit the forum, you have to go back and refresh and reread some threads that have been posted on since you started reading. That's what I think we miss.
And here's a question for you: When did petdekat start having a queen? Wow, it's been a long time since I posted over there!

Well, back in 2002, at a Mardi Gras ball in OBX, where Terrance and the band were playing, I was crowned Queen of the ball. Terrance started to sing Mama Roux and would add, Queen of Pet de Kat Krewe when he would. Daphne and Steve called me from the little fest at the Audubon Zoo that year and had Terrance singing it to me over the phone.
When Terrance wrote the new PDKK song he had a line in it about Mama Roux, Queen of Pet De Kat Krewe, she knows how to party, makes a mean sandwich too... and he went back and forth with that line and the line he used on the recorded version... but Steve and Joe kept calling me that, so it sort of stuck.

Thank you! We were influenced by the Doctor, hissself. Papa had on beads we made ourselves with real chicken bones, too. The cape and hat I used, which got a big of added feathers and beads, actually are part of a costume that my friend who is an opera singer uses when he sings the witch's part in Hansel and Gretel. I made the cape for John and my "dress" out of some funky alligator printed material I found in both green and purple, and added the satin corset over it. He had on a tuxedo shirt and bow tie and bib overalls. LOL Oh it was fun!
