I saw a post a while back about Cafepress Vs another company, I've got some T-shirt designs I want to market (NOLA-oriented) and I was wondering on what feedback the TH nation might be able to offer?

I think cafepress is the only one that's been used for the "official" CBH designs. I'm actually not aware of a similar ompany, I've always been very happy with cafepress quality, shipping, etc.
They offer extremely high quality customer service, allow the seller to determine price (above cost), and do quality work. We've never felt the need to go elsewhere.

I used them in '06 for my lagniappe buttons and one t-shirt - they did great work and were excellent to work with. Thumbs up from me!

I have no experience with anyone other than CP. I've been pleased with them, especially with their customer service. It definitely serves my purposes since I don't have to invest any money into stock, worry about ordering, shipping, returns, etc. Put up your designs and market them. That's pretty much all you have to do.
The quality is not quite the same as silkscreen but you can't expect that from a print-on-demand computerized process.
It definitely serves my (our) purposes.

It all depends on the # in the run you want to do. Larger runs will get you lower prices. CP gives you more flexibility because you don't have to keep stock of all your designs. As CBH said, there is a difference between CP and silkscreen.
