I'm so bummed lookin' at this.....I PROMISED myself I would make a meet up this year.....and DIDN'T.......Friday, my boat sank, and I couldn't get over there....., Saturday....Well, sorry ya'll but Irma trumped the meet up. Sunday I was arguing with Mr. Soul over whether we should see Joss or Steely. (I made the mistake of talking him into Joss......big error on my part. Sorry, Mr. Soul.....hey. We live. We learn) BUT, the good news is, I happened upon several T-heads over the course of the weekend who I had wanted to meet. And they were all as lovely in person as I have come to know them to be on the boards. Thursday, I met Tangledupinblue & her s.o. in front of LMF. She has to be one of the most beautiful souls I know. Friday, we met a host of T-heads at Ms. Lena's. Orleansnj, Zydekitten, Steeleye, CBH, AmyP, The Dumb & Smart Toursists, the Bjamins. etc....etc....Saturday, I couldn't find a damn soul in all those f'n people. BUT I SAW IRMA!!!!!!!!
I was lucky enough to "stumble" on Corona & Pokerchick at Gentilly stage on Sunday. Also, Grisgris & Barry......All beautiful folks. All smiling & happy. Just wish they could have talked me into the Steely Dan show instead of Joss. I will be kicking myself for that decision for years to come, I'm sure!
