I loved meeting many of you at the meetup today. I would like to meet more people tomorrow, but I'm probably not going to be able to make the meetup. We're planning to hit Fest early, however, so I was wondering if anyone would be at Liuzza's if I stopped by (The one by the Mystery St/Acura Stage entrance, right?) before fest tomorrow?
Great meeting so many of you today!!!

Hi Dave, great meeting you today! :) We'll be at Liuzza's in the morning. Threadheads usually gather on the corner across from Liuzza's.
I also met SoCalEric today! (What a cutie pie he is!!!) He had that first fest permagrin going on. It's great to put faces with names! :)

Hey - I'm also glad to have met several of you, but I know I didn't catch everyone. Good times! We'll try to join you at Liuzza's, but we've been running late everyday so far :)

Jenn: don't think I'm going to make it to Carrollton...if you go, can you pick up Susan's new live CD for me? I can pay you tomorrow. Thanks.

Shoot, CHris! We probably won't go either, I just sent David out to pick up Chinese food. (We actually saw so much great music today, we didn't eat all day, which is my usual M.O. ;)
Do you think she's only selling that cd at gigs, or I wonder if it's available at LMF?
I have an LMF gift certificate burning a hole in my pocket......
Getting to talk to you a bit more this fest has been a particular joy for me! :)

Ditto for me. Great to getting to know you and David better. This is the message on Susan's website re: the new album:
"that night we will also be selling (hot off the presses) our "Live at Carrollton Station, Covered In Vinyl Series Volume 1" CD. It's a compilation of 15 songs from different CIV shows from the past 22 months. A sort of "bootleg" album as it were, recorded completely live w/o tricks, overdubs, special effects, plutonium, or anything else to hide behind. It's just us playing live recorded using 2 room mics, and a stereo board mix. You will find it sounds similar to live albums from the era of albums we cover. So, for all those who have requested such an album....FINALLY, huh?! A good portion of the proceeds will go directly to the Carrollton Station Foundation. The CD will be bargain priced at $10! We hope to see all of you there. Happy Jazz Fest!"

Hey. What time are y'all gonna be there? I was thinking 10:30ish? I wanna get into the fest early, and get good seats at the Gentilly stage, where I'm gonna be most of the day, but I figure that'll give me almost an hour of bloody marys (maries). Is that too early? Too late? Are you folks gonna be inside the bar, or at the corner across the street?
Yeah!

Chrisjoseph....if you find out she's selling it again locally, I'd be happy to get one and send it to you.
